Good-bye Berlin
Saturday we woke up early to put the finishing touches on the house before we headed to the train station. Yep, we were nice and early and waiting to hop on the train to Munich and transfer to a “railjet” to Salzburg. Took a cab to the hotel….Hotel Schwarzes  Rossl…where we will stay for 2 nights. The hotel is in the middle of town…it is only used as a hotel from July to the end of September….the rest of the time it is a residence for university students.
We arrived about 4:00pm.
Now the main reason we have come to Salzburg Austria is (no not just for me to find caches in another country!) but for the Sound of Music tour!!! Sheryl and I are both big big fans of the movie….we loved the music, the story and the scenery…..so here we are in Salsburg. Before we left on our walk we found the brochure for the tour in the lobby and had the person on the desk make reservations for the first tour in the morning….9:30.tour,
We went to check out where we need to go in the morning. Then we just happened to be near a cache, so up a little alley, a little help with translation from a young girl retrieving her bike and a little search we found the cache…another country.
